Just a small town girl. Find her singing along with Luke Bryan one minute and rapping to Drake the next. Abundant giver, but stealer of the covers. Nike shoes on during the day, but stilettos as soon as the sun goes down. Crazy in love with him. She’s a big dreamer, but major procrastinator. Overly emotional, misunderstood, but always finding a reason to smile.
I was diagnosed with WPW in April 2008. I underwent two heart surgeries and battled anxiety/depression at a young age. After spending months upon months in and out of the hospital and doctors offices, I realized that nursing was the career I wanted to pursue. Because of this, I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Something that I thought was so terrible actually opened my eyes to how amazing nursing really is.
I graduated with an advanced diploma in general studies and am now in college to become a Registered Nurse. I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at an Assisted Living facility where I assist older folks and dementia residents. As difficult as it can get at times I honestly love my job and every resident I care for. I originally wanted to become a Neonatal Nurse but I’m also contemplating Anesthesia, Cardiology, and Labor and Delivery.
